In accordance with arguments made in Game Balance Issues the Heal X series and the X Pumpkin Patch series have had their chance of a 4x Heal Removed, and their base, random and Stat Percent multiplied by 1.3. This will result in more reliable healing, and a higher minimum healing without changing the average of these spells. It is possible though unlikely these spells will be changed again in the future in order to make them grant results even closer to the average more consistantly.
I don't know what any of that means (and I'm meant to be a master at healing spells!), but apparently this is a buff, despite the 4x heal chance being removed. Everyone on the Battleon Forums, at least, is excited.

Edit: I just tested it out with Heal Deep Wounds and I got healed by 493 hp! And it only healed that much because that got me back to full health (I went down to about 700 hp and then used it)! I love this!
